Snuggling with dad

Mom has been sleeping at Grandpa's so Dad and I get the run of the house. The only bad thing is that
Dad does not always remember my bedtime cookie. BUT...I haven't been sleeping in my crate! Dad didn't feel like going upstairs so we slept on the futon downstairs. Dad even has an awesome scratchy wool blanket! (Mom won't let him use it upstairs cause it makes her itch.) I get to curl up next to Dad and snuggle with him. It's been a great couple of days.

The only thing missing is my bff Rigby

Mom said that my bff Rigby and his family still don't have power. I told Mom they should come here-I am even willing to share my bacon with them! I have lots of toys that Rigby could play with!  Mom took me outside for the best time ever. Snow is great! She took a lot of movies of me having fun. The only way that I could have more fun would be if Rigby was here!

When we came into the kitchen from outside, Mom wiped me off with a paper towel which I tried to eat. Then she put a towel down on the floor for me to lie on. I am a tough dog though, so I nosed the towel into the corner and lay on the floor. Mom put the towel on me. I tossed it off so she gave up.

SNOW!!!

Last night Mom stayed at Grandpa's house so it was just me and Dad. We did boy things like grilling and playing in the snow! It was so much fun! Then we came inside and Dad lay on the futon-I curled up next to him to   him to keep him warm. Best day ever!

A ghost

Today I made Mom laugh. We came downstairs-I had to walk down the stairs again! I ran over to the couch and there was a blanket hanging off it. I ran under the blanket and it came off the couch and fell on me along with another blanket. I ran around cause I couldn't see anything. Mom said that it was a bit late to be dressing up like a ghost and laughed at me.

Mom's pain is now mine

Since Mom hurt her shoulder she has not been carrying me up and down the steps! Instead, at bed time she makes me walk up the stairs with my leash and collar on so that in the morning she can put it back on and make me walk down the stairs! Why must I suffer? With the leash and collar on I can't race into my crate and grab the cookie! Mom drags me back and makes me sit and wait for her to take off my collar! So unfair.

We're back!

Finally Mom and Dad decided to turn the lights back on. It was hard living in the dark and cold too! Yesterday my Grandma came over with a lot of meat! It smelled really good and I thought Dad might give me some but he put it in the freezer. Mom and Dad and I have spent a lot of time together this past week. We've been playing and going on walks. Grandpa stayed with us for a while but then he left. Mom said I would see him again soon. Mom also said that at some point we should try my halloween costume on and take pictures since I didn't get to wear it on Halloween. Mom said that my bff Rigby still doesn't have power (like my Grandpa). I hope they are doing well!

So much sleeping time

mom and dad have been very weird lately. First of all, on Monday our house was filled with people! Dad had friends over and my grandpa was also there. It started to get very dark and windy. Dad and I went out for a walk. There was a lot to smell with all that wind! We heard a big boom and I barked to let everyone know. My favorite tree across the street fell right over! Then it got dark in the house. Mom must be trying to save electricity I thought. Dads friends went away the next day but grandpa stayed and I got to lie on the couch next to him. Ever since Monday it has been dark in the house. And it is getting colder too. I spent last night lying next to grandpa.
