Mom is mean!

This morning Dad carried me downstairs and Mom was there waiting. She leashed me up and we went outside for a walk. I barked at the cat across the street and Mom made me go inside. When we went in the kitchen she let me go run around in the backyard while she made my breakfast. Kibble with apple. When I was done eating and minding my own business she grabbed me and started brushing me! I hate that! I bounced around trying to bite the brush but it was very elusive. Eventually I got a beggin strip when it was done. Then Dad was in the kitchen and Mom went to work. Dad let me outside. I heard someone by the gate so I ran to see what was going on. I barked to let them know they should move on and not loiter by my gate. Then I looked through the gap and saw Mom-and she woofed at me! How rude! I barked at her until Dad came out and yelled at her. Then she left.

New friends

This morning Mom let me out in the backyard to play. I was doing some warm up laps when some new friends appeared. A bunch of little birds decided to play with me! They would fly around and land on the grass and I would run and try to catch them. They cheated though by flying. Once they were on the ground they should have just run away not flown away,

Dad is great!

This is why Dad is the best! He likes to play the fun games! Last night Dad and I were playing. He was lying on the floor with my toys and I was running around trying to get them. All Mom ever does is hold my antler for me while I gnaw on it or play tug of war with me. I did make her chase me around the bedroom this morning so at least she got some exercise.

A biscuit that I had to eat twice!

Mom said that Aunt Carol gave me a biscuit. Mom showed it to me and it was really big! She gave it to me to eat so that she could take a video of me. But then the batteries ran out. She tried again but it still wouldn't work so she took my biscuit away!

The small amount that I got to nibble on tasted really good.

Later on she changed the batteries and I got to eat the rest of it!

How to be a very naughty pup

Lesson 1: Last night I was super naughty! Mom took me for a walk and everytime we crossed a big road I would run around her so she was caught up in my leash and then chew on her pants. It took her forever to get free! I did this a couple of times and a man walking behind us said to Mom that I was going to trip her. Then whenever we came to a good stretch of lawn, I would flop down on it and not move at all. Mom was very annoyed by the time we got home. But I didn't care cause Dad is back!

Dad's back!

Mom was right! I did get a big surprise yesterday! Dad's back! I was so excited to see him! I jumped around and licked him all over! And when he unpacked his suitcase I stole a sock and ran around with it happily!

When Mom left yesterday morning, she forgot to close the drawer in the kitchen all the way. I managed to open it enough to pull out Dad's chef hat and a couple of toys! When Dad saw, he took back his chef hat and some of the toys.

The big surprise

Mom said that today I was going to get a BIG surprise! I wonder what it is. Maybe it's my birthday again or I'm getting another antler? I can't wait to find out.
