Company!

Today Mom was home with me and we had company! My friend Joan came over AND she brought me 2 apples! I got to have some while she had lunch with Mom. I like company that knows to bring me a gift-it shows good breeding-like me! I got to play with Joan and go on a walk. It was a good day! I hope she comes back with more presents for me!

Let sleeping Mecki be

Mom is much ruder when AT isn't around. I was hanging out in the living room with her, gnawing on my antler when I got the urge to nap. I climbed on that thing that holds all my toys, found a good position and snoozed. Mom then decided to take photos of me of me snoozing (and according to her twitching and waving my paws!)-how rude! She even did an extreme close up! Now was that even necessary?

Someone is missing

I can't find Andre Thomas anywhere. I saw him yesterday morning but haven't seen him since. His room looks different-I can see the rug and his mattress isn't in Mom and Dad's room. This morning I was in the kitchen with Mom and I heard a noise. I ran over to the gate with my tail wagging cause I thought it was AT,  but no one was there. I wish he would come back.

The Day is not getting better!

This very long day is not getting better. I was in the kitchen, relaxing, contemplating eating my breakfast (it's around 2:30pm) when Mom grabbed me and took off my collar. Ah bedtime I thought and got excited about sleeping. But then she took me into the bathroom and  put me into WATER! I was so horrified that I couldn't even move. She splashed water all over me and put smelly soap on me! It was awful! When she took me out and started drying me I made my escape! I ran into the living room, grabbed my toy and ran around. Then I dried myself off on the carpet!

Here I am unaware of the horrors fast approaching!

I feel peckish and decide to eat




I start to feel a slight sense of foreboding!

  I make my escape into the living room to dry off on the rug!

  I take it out on the toy!

   Then dry some more!

Getting up in the middle of the night

This morning everyone got up really early! I think it was still nighttime! Mom said if was 4am but it was dark out. AT took me outside for a walk and then stuck me in the kitchen. Everyone left and then only Mom came back eventually. It's a really weird day.

A brand spankin' new antler!

Dad and AT got me a new antler! It is awesome! Mom taped the transfer of power but forgot to check the batteries so she had to do it in two parts. This made me crazy cause I just wanted my new antler! Here is part 1:

Then we had to stop and wait while Mom put in new batteries, so here is Part 2:

Then Mom took some photos of my old and new antler so you can see the damage I can do even though I'm not a big dog!

Wake up call

This morning Mom let me out of my crate and I ran right over to AT's mattress and jumped up! I bounced on his head a couple of times and then found his toes so I licked them. He put the blanket over himself but Mom picked up a corner so that I could tunnel my way under and get him. Then just when it was getting good, she grabbed me and took me downstairs.
      I ate my breakfast and then I got mad cause there was no food left in my bowl! That stupid bowl took all my food! So I growled at it and bit it and shoved it all over the kitchen until it gave up.
