Sneaky Mom

This morning Mom was sneaky. She gave me some carrots but then she opened to door and asked if I wanted to go outside! I was torn between my carrots and the great white open. Finally I put all my carrots in my mouth and ran outside. I spit them out on the grass, ran around, ate a carrot, ran around. Then I came inside and danced with Dad to a Weird Al song.

Naughty dog

Yesterday after giving me 3 belly rubs, my grandpa told me I was good dog! I knew that. Mom does not agree though. Last night she told me I was a bad dog and put me in the kitchen. She wanted me to sit on her lap and watch tv with her, but I wanted to be on the floor barking and nipping at her. I won! But then she chased me into the kitchen  and locked me behind the gate. I sat by the gate and barked to show my disapproval!

I thought I was all alone

I thought today was like very other day and Mom and Dad were at work. But Mom was home and she was hiding from me! I was relaxing in the kitchen when Mom appeared and I hadn't heard any doors open! We went for a walk. Then Grandpa came over and gave me 3 belly rubs! That was awesome! Then Mom and I relaxed on the couch. I was just starting to snooze when Dad came home and snuggled with me! Today was a great day.

Food on the run

It's hard for a little pup like me to get enough food. Mom is pretty stingy. Yesterday she was in the kitchen cutting something up, so I went in and sat by her feet. Sometimes (rarely for Mom) food will drop on the floor. So I waited. She was cutting up zucchini the long way and a piece fell off the counter. I grabbed it in mid air, ran out of the kitchen and hopped over my bed to hide behind the couch. Mom was amused because I don't really like zucchini but I was hungry so I ate it.

Jeanette is back!

My friend Jeanette is back visiting! I was so excited to see her! Yesterday we all went to Sands Point. I ran on the beach and barked at the water. Then I ran up the stairs! Then they all left me at home and went to have fun. Dad brought me upstairs and I ran into AT's room looking for Jeanette but she wasn't there.

A new hiding spot

When I was hanging out with Dad at lunch, I was lying by the screen door chewing on my antler. Dad called me into the kitchen and I thought, this is  a good spot to hide my antler from Mom. Mom almost always comes in the kitchen door. So I left it there. When Mom came back she opened the screen door to come in and found my antler!

I love Dad

I love Dad but he is way too trusting. Mom never lets me hang out in the living room alone. Dad let me out and then went to do something and I snagged the remote. It was as tasty to chew on as my antler! Dad looked in but thought I was chewing on my antler. By the time he realized I wasn't it was too late. I had chomped on the remote and it was in pieces. Dad was very mad but it wasn't my fault at all. I am a young pup!

No place to run, no place to hide

I tricked Mom this morning but it was partially her fault for being mean! Mom closed the door to AT's room and to my room! That means there is no where to run except in her room and she can catch me quicker! Today she opened my crate and let me out but she stayed sitting on the bed talking to Dad. I saw that she was ignoring me which is quite rude! Usually she lets me out and then goes by the stairs and calls me for a while, then comes back and grabs me. Since she was ignoring me, I went over and sat by the stairs. She finally came looking for me and there I was, by the stairs. She told me I was a good boy-but I already knew that!

They don't make antlers like they used to

This is what my new antler looked like when I got it. It is much smaller now and the little antler got smaller too. Mom said she is going to have to go wandering  in the forest, looking for antler to keep me happy.

We got to play while we waited and waited and waited for the elephants!

Elephants and horses and people oh my!

Mom and Dad took me for a ride when they got home. We went to a place by a road that had grass and a lot of people. There were people and kids everywhere but no one would play with me.That made me very sad.  Then  I met a boy named Ryan and we played for a long time. It was so much fun! He gave me belly rubs and petted me. Then we all went and walked to the road and I smelled something strange! Then some very big animals came walking by! Mom said they were elephants! I wanted to go chase them but Mom wouldn't let me. Then some horses came by. After that we went home. I was very hungry and very thirsty and very tired!

Playin with Mom

Mom and I played outside yesterday. First we played her favorite game "I'm gonna get ya". That's where I grab a stick and do my "I've got a stick and you can't have it" growl. Then Mom chases me around trying to get the stick. Then she started kicking my soccer ball. I grabbed my really long stick and ran after the ball, I was faster so I hurdled the soccer ball with my big stick. Mom thought that was very funny.

Breakfast with Dad

I like to eat breakfast with Dad cause he drops more on the floor than Mom does. This morning he was making blueberry pancakes for Mom and he gave me some blueberries. I liked the warm ones better than the cold ones. Then I smelled BACON! He and Mom sat down to eat and they both gave me a little bacon-it was so yummy. Then Mom and I ran around in the backyard with my soccer ball. I wonder what else well do today?

Rain

Yesterday was a great day. I got to snuggle on the couch all day with Dad. When Mom came home, she sat on the couch with me for a while but then I was naughty and bit her pants. Today I didn't get to play in the backyard cause it is cold and rainy out.

This morning Mom brought me downstairs. A little later Dad came downstairs and we hung out in the living room for a bit. Then he went back upstairs. But now Mom and Dad are hanging out with me! Thsi is the best day ever!

It's Miley

Last night Mom and I went for a walk and I saw my friend Miley. She's a french bulldog. Mom stopped so that we could play for a little bit. Then we went home. Today Mom let me play outside in the backyard for a while. It was nice out.

Mom came home at lunch to take me out for a walk! I was excited to see her! I ran to say hello and then ran under the table so she would chase me. But instead, she asked if I wanted to go outside and I did! I ran over and she put on my leash and took me out for a walk. Then she let me run around the backyard while she ate lunch. I found a warm spot on the grass and lay down, then I found a piece of apple so I lay on my side and chewed on the apple. Mom opened the door and shook my treat bag at me, so I got up and ran inside as fast as I could. She gave me a piece of beggin' strips and a piece of cheese. So far so good!

A very quiet dog outside

Mom and I went outside today and there was a dog that sorta looked like me sitting in the garden. It didn't smell like a dog, and it was very quiet and still. It just sat there. I don't think he'll be fun to play with.
   Yesterday I went to the dog park with Dad and I got to play with a dog named Fraggle. Dad said he looked like a Fraggle. We had a good time until another dog pushed his way in.
   Dad was holding my antler just out of reach, so I was hopping up and down in a sitting position trying to get it. Mom was laughing cause she's mean like that, and said that Dad was teaching me to dance and do the bunny hop. Then Dad left and I was alone with Mom. She was watching a movie so I lay down next to her and took a nap until I heard someone come in the door. It was my Grandpa! He went for a walk with us! Today was a very good day!

Fun at the dog park

Today I got to jump around on Dad's bed before going downstairs. Dad took me to the dog park today and I got to play with a dog named Fraggle. He was a little younger then me but a lot of fun. When we got home I jumped on the couch to say hi to Mom and take a little nap.

little blue squeaky bone

This morning when Mom and I went outside, all the kids were standing in a line waiting for the bus. I wanted to run over and play with them but Mom was mean and made me go inside. Then I went outside in the backyard to play. I found my blue squeaky bone so I picked it up and did my laps with it. I was running around thinking about what a great toy the squeaky bone was when Mom called me inside. Why does the squeaky bone have to live outside I though. So I ran into the kitchen with the squeaky bone!

No more play area

Mom and Dad took apart my play area upstairs. That's where I used to stay when they weren't home. They put it outside on the curb and I ran over to sniff it. It smelled good! This morning when we went outside I ran over to sniff it again but it was gone! That made me grumpy so when I came inside with Mom, I barked and grumbled about everything.

A slightly better breakfast

This morning I almost helped Mom out. She let me out of my crate and I did my stretching and rolling under the bed. She was waiting by the stairs and calling me to go downstairs for a walk. I peered around the door at her and slowly came out into the hallway, but not all the way to the stairs-she has to do some work! We went outside for a walk and then went into the kitchen. I wasn't hungry so I ignored my kibble. Mom let me go play in the backyard for a while and then called me to come in. When I came back in, there was a surprise in my kibble-sweet potato! I love sweet potato!

I don't want a bath!

Today Mom and Dad took me to a store. There were a lot of dogs there and they were all getting baths! I was not happy cause I did not want a bath. But instead, they bought me a new antler! Dad made the new antler powerful and here are some videos!

walking on 2 legs

This morning Mom took forever to let me out of my crate. So I took forever with my stretching and rolling on the floor until she finally just scooped me up. We went downstairs and she took me out for a walk. We walked by the neighbors and they have a raised bed in front of their house, and something that smells interesting lives in there! I always run over there and sniff to see if I can catch it at home. Today I put my front paws up on the ledge and sniffed, but it smelled even better farther down, so instead of going back down on all fours, I just walked myself down the bed sniffing all the way. Mom was laughing at me for walking on 2 legs. Then we went inside and she gave me some apple with my kibble.

Mom is here

Today Mom is home with me. For a while we lay on the couch and I chewed on my antler. But then I got bored and grumpy and I started barking and growling at Mom. Mom lured me over with a cookie and then grabbed me and stuck me in the kitchen. I was very sad, but she would not let me out. In a little while we went for a long walk. Now I am taking a nap in the kitchen while Mom hides.

Forks

This morning Mom went somewhere very early. She left me in the kitchen with my food. I was bored so I jumped up and got some forks to play with. When she came home, there were dessert forks everywhere!
