So much sleeping time

mom and dad have been very weird lately. First of all, on Monday our house was filled with people! Dad had friends over and my grandpa was also there. It started to get very dark and windy. Dad and I went out for a walk. There was a lot to smell with all that wind! We heard a big boom and I barked to let everyone know. My favorite tree across the street fell right over! Then it got dark in the house. Mom must be trying to save electricity I thought. Dads friends went away the next day but grandpa stayed and I got to lie on the couch next to him. Ever since Monday it has been dark in the house. And it is getting colder too. I spent last night lying next to grandpa.
