The Evil sprinkler!

Mom took me out for a walk today in the hot disgusting weather. I was unhappy about this and took my revenge by dawdling along. Due to this we were quickly overtaken by a dog and his mom on the other side of the street. I didn't know this dog so I kept my eye on him. I barked a bit but Mom yelled at me. I was so busy looking at him that I didn't see the sprinkler head sticking out of the grass. I walked right into it! This startled me and I jumped back. Then I got mad and barked at it, and finally bit it. I had been so busy getting my revenge that I had forgotten about Mom being there. She was all bent over laughing at me. Like she never walks into anything!
